Phoonk 2 Movie
Phoonk 2 is a new Hindi movie of Bollywood in the direction of Milind Gadagkar. Phoonk 2 movie releases on 16th April, 2010 in Indian theaters on the same date of Paathshaala movie. Phoonk 2 movie releases in the sequel of Phoonk.

Sudeep as Rajiv, Amruta Khanvilkar as Arati, Ahsaas Channa as Raksha, Rishabh Jain as Rohan, Anu Ansari as Lakshmi, Ashwini Khalsekar as Madhu, Neeru Bajwa as Arushi, Amit Sadh as Ronnie, Ganesh Yadav as Vinay, Zakir Husaan as Manja, Vikash Shrivastav as Balu and Chyan Trivedi as Goswami are the leading casts of Phoonk 2 Hindi film.

Phoonk 2 is presented by Ram Gopal Verma. The movie is produced by Prashant Burra and P. Chandrashekhar under the production of Sarthak Movies and ZED 3 Pictures. Phoonk 2 movie is written and directed by Milind Gadagkar.

Official website of Phoonk 2, www.phoonk2.in, writes about the film synopsis, “Phoonk 1 ends with the killing of Madhu, the woman who casts a black magic spell on Rajiv’s daughter Raksha. Phoonk 2 begins with Madhu’s ghost returning from the grave to seek revenge on the family. On bagging a new construction project. Rajiv moves with his family to a new place. Raksha and Rohan begin exploring the new place and the surroundings – the lonely beach and then the woods behind the house. The terror begins with Raksha and Rohan finding a doll in the woods and then it progresses to a series of highly traumatizing experiences for the whole family.

Manja, the only man whom Rajiv could turn to, meets a gruesome death at the hands of the black magic woman Madhu’s ghost, who has risen from the grave to avenge her own death… to seek vengeance on Rajiv, by torturing his loved ones – his wife Arati and their children. Raksha and Rohan in unimaginably cruel ways. Phoonk 2 captures fear of a family caught hostage to a murderous, animalistic spirit seeking revenge by brutally terrorizing them. We experience a fear far larger than that of a live evil than when the dead returns to haunt you. It is the fear where every escape route of yours becomes dangerously anticipated and cunningly laid out in front of you. It is the fear that extends to letting go of one loved one to save another. Where every situation takes a sinister turn for the worse, methodically murdering everyone’s hope to live.

Terrorized by the demonic force. Will Rajiv give in to the ghost or will he betray his family and give up? Will the family survive as the gruesome and repulsing murders are committed, or do the disfigured bodies, visions, ghostly voices, and unsettling, disturbing incidents drive them to death? Will the ghost live with them till they become ghosts themselves? The choice that Rajiv has to make in the final moments of the film forms a very unsettling and a highly disturbing climax.”

Phoonk 2 is the sequel of Phoonk movie. The movie starts from the end of its first part. The movie begins with Madhu’s ghost that returns in the family of Rajiv to take avenge. Rajiv moves with his family to a new place and in a new home.

Phoonk 2 movie introduces fear in the new home. First part of Phoonk movie was warning but second part introduces the biggest fear and scary.

Director of Phoonk 2 Hindi film – Milind Gadagkar writes in a note, “In Phoonk, more than the scare factor. I as a writer questioned the rational mind of a non-believer. In fact I disagreed with Ramu in the way he made the film and also argued that he should not pitch Phoonk as a scary film. But he didn’t listen to me as he felt that there is a difference between the scare genres. Phoonk might have worked but I would like to believe that it would have worked better if it was made the way I visualized it. Anyway, with Phoonk 2, I wanted to take the audiences to a place where the horrors are so painfully scary and gory that even a rational mind will lose its sanity. Every time you say “I don’t believe in ghosts”, there is a ghost somewhere that comes out of its grave. Phoonk 2 begins with the gruesome death of Manja, the only man whom Rajiv could turn to, at the hands of the black magic woman Madhu’s ghost, who has risen from the grave to avenge her own death…to seek vengeance on Rajiv, by torturing his loved ones his wife Arati and their children, Raksha and Rohan in unimaginably cruel ways.

Further he includes, “If you have the fear of the dead…be warned that my intention in Phoonk 2 is to scare the death out of you and not let you REST IN PEACE!”

So, Phoonk 2 movie introduces the greatest fear for audiences. The movie tries to scare you. Director of the movie has tried to introduce something new in the second that was not possible in its first part.

Phoonk 2 movie also introduces watch and win contests just like Phoonk movie. You can win Rs. 5 lacs by watching the film alone and with a cardiogram to monitor your heartbeat at the venue. If you are ready to face the fear, SMS "PHOONK2" to 57333.

In a recent interview, Rom Gopal Verma declares that Phoonk 2 is a scary movie rather than horror. He also said that Phoonk 2 is scarier than Phoonk.

Phoonk 2 is not a horror movie however we recently watched Click movie that was based on horror theme. The movie introduces the biggest fear that will follow you when you leave the theaters after having watched.
