Udaan movie revolves around the contradiction between father and son. It is based on the generation gap, emotion gap and approach gap. Udaan is a story of the confrontation between an old father and a young son.
The movie shares many experiences of a child who spends his eight years in boarding school. His father has a wish to make him an engineer against his wishes. The approach was introduced in 3 Idiots movie also. But the son wants to be a writer.
Udaan is a brilliant movie of Anurag Kashyap. He already has shown his best talent being an actor, writer, director and producer. His best directorial movie – Dev D and Gulaal make him superior.
Storyline of Udaan movie is very simple that mirrors the real life. Simple stories are not simple to narrate. However, Vikramaditya Motwane has shown his materialistic approach towards the film. Udaan is the story of almost everyone’s life.
