Chandni Chowk to China down and Slumdog Millionaire up

In the month of February Bollywood released 2 most famous movies which are – Chandni Chowk to China and Slumdog millionaire. Chandni Chowk to China had great expectation due to its mix culture of China and India. Star Akshay Kumar was the hero of the movie but it didn’t get well response from the audience like his previous movie – Singh is King and Namastey London.

Personally, I am the well wisher of Akshay Kumar but in these days he has deliver some similar story movies however his audience has been increased. But I think now audience think that it is enough Akshay. Stop to make similar stories movie whether it is comedy or action.

You should know that Chandni Chowk to China is also an action and comedy genre movie. The movie has been directed by Nikhil Advani and it has been produced by a team of Rohan Sippy, Ramesh Sippy and Mukesh Talreja. Chandni Chowk to China story has been written by Sirdhar Raghvan and Rajat Arora.

The movie Chandni Chowk to China story is on the basis of great comedy with the mixture of Kungfu comedy. 1st time director has decided to mix the two country culture very sincerely but story is not meaningful and unique so that it is down in the competition of Slumdog Millionaire which has been also released in the month of February, 2008. However, Ghajini has earned more in spite of duplicity.

I remembered that day when Kaun Banega Karorpati has been started in the host of Amitabh Bachhan and suddenly Amitabh grew day by day in the Bollywood. I have also remembered that the serial was the revolution in the media. After that many channel started and audience got a new thing in their life to become richer.

Still the scene is in my mind of Kolkata. People were crazy towards Kaun Banega Karorpati. Most of the poor family guy had now a dream to be a millionaire. It is now a decade.

Slumdog Millionaire is also on the theme of Kaun Banega Karorpati. However, it is based on a novel “Q & A” which is written by Vikas Swarup. The movie has been directed by Danny Boyle and has been written by Simon Beaufoy.

1st time it is the movie on different theme after “Lagan”. It has emotion, action, love and brave. In the Slumdog Millionaire movie a guy won 1 million and become rich, how and how he knows the answer of all the questions is the essence of the movie.

Movie is positive towards the slumdog guy but it is in reality? Will the dream give the right direction in the society of slumdog? Many questions are here with the movie related to real life of poor people who live in slumdog.

Why Ghajini needed in Hindi with Amir Khan?

Recently, released movie Ghajini was in the typical situation due to duplicity of Tamil movie. Amir Khan is the famous name in the film industry for a new and success movie every year but this year he has broken out his records and made a movie on that theme which has been already done in the Tamil film industry.

Ghajini is the movie on the theme of revenge of personal matter. It is the movie on the action and latest fight but all the action are not needed according to the situation. People were very curious about the movie the now they are only the row of critics.

All the people know that the movie is on the theme of Tamil script then why Amir thought to review the movie in the Hindi. However the movie could be translated in Hindi also.

I am sure most of the movies which have been released by the Bollywood are duplicated. I have seen many movies which are taken by either Hollywood or from South Indian movie.

Amir Khan is the famous hero for new style and new theme in the film industry and has produced many movies which are very successful. I think Mangal Singh was not success but after that all the movies are very successful. But the movie Ghajini has down the image of Amir Khan.

With this movie one of the most successful stars Sahrukh Khan released his movie “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi”. I think with movie all the audience with the movie of Sahrukh Khan for the better performance and love story movie.

One hand Sahrukh Khan produced a love story movie with end of positive life and on the hand Amir Khan produced a revenge movie for the fight of love. All audience of the Ghajini movie can think what the reason behind the movie of delicacy was. But I am sure Amir Khan now also in the business of movie not in art and entertainment.

Duplex Movie Review in the context of Khosla Ka Ghosla Movie

Duplex movie was released in September 2003 in US. The movie was family comedy and in the starting of the movie main characters was – Ben Stiller (Alex Rose) who was the writer and his wife Drew Barrymore (Nancy Kendricks). Along with Eileen Essel (Mrs. Connelly), Harvey Fierstein (Kenneth) was in the main role of the movie.

The movie was released in the direction of Danny DeVito from the Miramax Studio. Today, I have decided to write its review because yesterday night I watch the movie on my desktop via the cable channel on the Bindass Movies.

The movie was great for me personally because I have already watched Khosla Ka Ghosla Bollywood movie before a year which was released in 2006 in the direction of Dibakar Banerjee with Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, and Tara Sharma etc.

Similarity of both movies are house buying and lender device them. Both movies are family comedy. But Duplex is the wonderful movie with full of comedy only while in the Khosla Ka Ghosla there is emotion, fear and action also.

In the starting to Duplex Alex Rose with his wife buy a house. In that house a old women on the upper floor live. She is the guided by the lender which is known in the end of the movie to the watcher. She played a great role in the movie to entertain movie watcher.


Overall the movie has been directed very naturally on the needs and psychology of human being. Along with Khosla Ka Ghosla also is very natural movie on the Indian Real Estate sectors lender who captured that field after selling themselves.

In the movie characters play a great role in the against of lender that was full of comedy and device along with risks.

In the last I can say both movie has own importance and both are suitable in their own context. Watcher has liked both movie and both are medium earner.

Many reviewers have reviewed Duplex as laugh movie. I also recommend that movie as laugh movie because I really enjoyed it.

James Bond 007: Now with Quantum of Solace

James Bond returns with his new movie Quantum of Solace. It is known as action and adventure movie. The movie has got 4 rating in the 5. Director, Marc Forster has made it more adventure and action of the movie.

James Bond 007: Quantum of Solace has been released on November 14th, 2008. The movie has been started with Daniel Craig, Mathieu Amalric, Olga Kurylenko, Judi Dench etc.

The Quantum of Solace is full of action but the director has included nude scene also in this movie like previous James Bond 007. In the review of James Bond 007 : Quantum of Solace telegraph.co.uk writes, “James, of course, is still hung up over the betrayal and demise of Vesper in the last instalment, motivating a morose six-martini binge while he's flying across the Atlantic, as well as his avoidance here of any serious entanglements, save those in stray lengths of rope dangling from the roofs of Tuscan churches. With the movie of Quantum of Solace Daniel Craig has got another chance with after the Casino Royale.

Casino Royale was also an action movie but not success movie. We have to see next what happened with the James Bond 007 in the Quantum of Solace.

However, the movie has got positive reviews. But it is not complete now.

“Fashion” Movie and Rumor on Fashion Movie

Fashion is movie of Madhur Bhandarkar which is now in rumor and debate. It is being said that harsh reality of the glamorous world of fashion industry shows the Fashion movie. Madhur Bhandarkar is always in light for his movies which is not on trends of Indian movie. His movie – Red Light etc. are always was in light. Like that his new movie “Fashion” is also in the light.

About the movie it is announced that Fashion is based on Geetanjali Nagpal's life. But about this Madhur Bhandarkar says, “It’s a movie about models in the fashion industry. Kangana’s character is an ultra-successful supermodel; I doubt if Geetanjali was a supermodel ever.”

The movie “Fashion” is on the story of a Super Model surely but shows the reality of a model life and fashion world which is related to the model.

In the Fashion Kangana Ranaut's will play the character of a model which is related to Geetanjali Nagpal's life but is is not sure because it can be incidents.

However, the movie will change the concept of Indian movie and will give something new like – Red light, Page 3, Water etc.

Blood Diamond Movie Reviews and My Thought on Blood Diamond Movie

I don't like all the movie but some movie is liked by me much. In the series some movie are involve with Blood Diamond. It is not new movie. But I am writing its review here because the movie I watched yesterday with my wife.

The movie theme is on the life struggle of South Africa people. All the fight is moving surround the diamond. Some capitalist who have money goes in South Africa and make slave by the power of gun South African people to get the diamond.

The Blood Diamond movie was released in 2006 in the direction of Edward Zwick and in the starting of movie participators are Leonardo DiCaprio, Jenifer Connelly, Djimon Hounsou, Stephen Collins etc.

In the review of movies.nytimes.com writes,

“...Blood Diamond” means well, but it also means box-office business. Hollywood has always traveled to faraway places (or at least tricked out sound stages) to spin yarns about moral calamity perfumed with the exotic. Whether down Mexico way or in Morocco, it generally kept the atmospheric extras — the snake-hipped dancing girl, the scoundrel in the burnoose, the smiler in the fez — stashed in the background, where they wouldn’t distract from the star attractions. “Blood Diamond” wants to bring those blurred figures closer into view, notably through Solomon. But the rushing camerawork, breakneck editing, compulsion to go, go, go onto the next genre beat mean that there is next to no time for such niceties. The faces remain obscured, the voices muted, even as Danny comes sharply into focus..."

With the Blood diamond movie my thought is positive that the move show the reality of life when all the fight were finished after the death of diamond wanted people.
